Description:

The MEMS Engineer is part of the InvenSense MEMS Development team responsible for developing next generation MEMS products. The MEMS engineer will be responsible for the layout, FEA modeling, and hands-on testing and characterization of MEMS devices. The candidate should be familiar with the mechanics of MEMS devices such as accelerometers and resonators. Experience with MEMS layout and understanding of MEMS fabrication is required. IC layout experience is a plus. Experience with FEA tools and electronic bench-level testing is highly desired. The MEMS Engineer will work closely with project leaders and senior design engineers to bring new products into volume production. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with experience in MEMS.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
• Understanding of MEMS fabrication processes
• MEMS modeling experience in Ansys, COMSOL, or similar tool
• Layout of MEMS devices in L-Edit, Cadence, or similar layout editor
• Experience with layout, DRC, and LVS tools
• Demonstrated proficiency in MEMS device characterization
• Working knowledge of test equipment such as signal generator, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer
