Senior Embedded Software Engineer
The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will need to provide technical leadership by defining, developing and implementing motion sensing solutions for mobile devices, participating in defining embedded system structure for mobile device motion sensors solutions, participating in defining and implementing mobile motion sensing SDK, designing and implementing motion sensing solution software on various mobile platforms, designing and implementing solutions, especially for GPS phone application, and technically leading and mentoring embedded software engineers in US and Taiwan.
Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science
- More than 8 years of relevant development experience
- Solid skills developing in C
- Experience developing and debugging real time embedded systems
- Experience in embedded system architecture; software and hardware
- Strong knowledge of real time operating system concepts and algorithms
- Experience tuning software for performance and memory footprint
- Development experience with handset or GPS system - an advantage
- Ability to motivate and mentor engineers
- Ability to learn and apply new knowledge quickly
- Ability to foresee problems and integrate solutions into designs and implementations
- Good communication skills
